Miranda Hall, MSW, RSW

                                            Currently waitlisting clients.

I’m the founder of Intuitive Healing Psychotherapy and a Clinical Social Work Specialist licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers since 2016. I’m deeply committed to providing attuned, evidence-informed care to individuals, children, couples, and families.

I support people of all ages and specialize in child and family therapy, helping families navigate challenges with greater connection, understanding, and resilience. My work is grounded in a deep respect for the unique needs of each child and the dynamics of the family system.

I draw on specialized training in EMDR therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Emotionally Focused Couple and Family Therapy, and Play Therapy to support clients through a wide range of emotional and relational concerns. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, parenting stress, or relationship struggles, I tailor each session to meet your specific needs and goals.

My approach is rooted in connection, compassion, and a belief that healing happens in the presence of safety and trust. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel truly seen and heard—so they can move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.

I'm Breigha, a Clinical Specialist Social Worker registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers since 2013. I currently work with individuals aged 19 and older, providing support with care, compassion, and evidence-based strategies.

I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Grief Counselling. My approach is always client-centered—meaning I meet you where you’re at, and we move forward together. Larissa Rodriguez, MSW, RSW

                                    Currently accepting new clients.

Hello! I am Larissa Rodriguez, a Registered Social Worker with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. I work with clients of all ages, offering support through life’s challenges with compassion. At the heart of my work is a person-centered approach. I believe you’re the expert on your own life, and I’m here to support your journey with warmth, respect, and care. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection. Connection with ourselves, with others, and within a safe and respectful therapeutic relationship. I bring specialized training in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and play therapy which allows me to meet children, youth, adults, and families where they are, in ways that feel accessible, age-appropriate, and meaningful.

With a background in supporting young people and families navigating complex emotional experiences and systems of care, I understand the importance of advocacy, attunement, and creating spaces where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. I strive to build a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can explore their stories, grow their inner resilience, and move toward healing at their own pace.

Emily MacArthur-Snow, MSW, RSW

                                    Currently accepting new clients.

I’m Emily, a Clinical Social Work Specialist registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers since 2016. I’m excited to be offering therapy for adolescents (12+), adults, couples, and families. With nine years of experience as a social worker, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through many different life experiences, and I’m passionate about helping clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

As a queer, trauma-informed therapist, I approach my work from a strengths-based perspective. I believe that everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they have, and that you are the expert of your own story. In therapy, I strive to create a space where safety, trust, compassion, and non-judgment are at the heart of our work together.

I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Good Psychiatric Management (GPM), Motivational Interviewing, and Gender-Affirming Care. I am especially passionate about supporting trans and gender-diverse clients, which can include exploring social or legal transition goals, building a strong sense of self, or preparing for gender-affirming treatments. I am also trained to provide readiness assessments and referral documentation following the WPATH Standards of Care to help clients take the next steps in their transition if they choose.

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, identity exploration, or other concerns, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you in your healing journey.

Megan Holloway, MSW Student, RSW

                                    Currently accepting new clients.

Hi, I’m Megan Holloway, a registered social worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities across various settings. I began my journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from Cape Breton University, followed by a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University. I became registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers in 2020 and am currently completing my Master of Social Work at Dalhousie, with a focus on clinical practice.

I'm excited to be completing my clinical placement with Intuitive Healing Psychotherapy under the supervision of Miranda Hall. We share similar values and a strong commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and families through relational, compassionate, and evidence-informed care.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with the Department of Community Services, Family Services of Nova Scotia, and the Cape Breton Victoria Regional Centre for Education. I’ve also provided counselling support at Cape Breton University and the 211 Helpline through Family Services of Nova Scotia.

I’m passionate about working with children, youth, and families, particularly in the areas of mental health, trauma, and resilience. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in compassion. I believe deeply in helping people discover their potential, overcome challenges, and move toward healing and growth.

As I continue to grow in my practice, I’m eager to further develop my skills in attachment-based theory, play therapy, and emotionally focused family therapy. These areas deeply align with my belief in the power of safe, nurturing relationships to support healing across the lifespan.
