Therapy at Intuitive Healing is for children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are seeking a safe, compassionate space to explore life’s challenges and deepen their emotional well-being. We support people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, identity exploration, and personal growth.
Our services may be especially helpful for those who feel overwhelmed by past experiences, stuck in painful patterns, or disconnected from themselves and others. Whether you’re looking to heal from trauma, build healthier relationships, improve emotional regulation, or reconnect with your inner wisdom, our approach centers your unique story, values, and healing pace.

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust and safety. You’ll be invited to share what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to explore or shift, and any concerns or questions you have about the process.
We’ll talk about your history, current challenges, and what supports you already have in place. You’ll never be pressured to share more than you’re comfortable with — we move at your pace.
I’ll also share more about how I work, what therapy can look like, and we’ll collaborate on what feels like a good starting point. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, respected, and gently supported as you begin your healing journey.
The frequency of therapy depends on your unique needs, goals, and life circumstances. Many people begin with bi-weekly sessions to build momentum and create a consistent space for healing and growth. For some, especially during times of heightened stress or transition, more frequent sessions may be helpful.
As you start to feel more grounded or reach certain goals, we might shift to monthly check-ins. This is something we’ll regularly revisit together — your therapy journey is collaborative and flexible, and we’ll adjust the pace to support what’s most helpful for you at each stage.
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is kept private and confidential, with a few legal exceptions — such as situations involving serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or when required by law (e.g., court orders or concerns involving child protection). We’ll go over these limits together in your first session so you feel informed and safe.
We offer both virtual and in-person therapy sessions, depending on your preference and needs. Virtual sessions are held through a secure, confidential video platform. In-person sessions are offered in a comfortable, private office space. We’re happy to talk through what feels most supportive and accessible for you.
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic approaches. Depending on your needs, we may draw from EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), inner child work, and narrative or feminist-informed frameworks. For children and youth, we focus on Play Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy. We collaborate with you to tailor therapy to your pace, strengths, and lived experience.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Our standard rate is $175, and we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. We’re happy to discuss fees and options that might work for you during a consultation call.
Yes. We work with individuals across the lifespan, including children (using play-based and attachment-informed approaches), teens, couples, and families. We’re here to support you in strengthening relationships, healing from past pain, and finding new ways of connecting with yourself and others.
